The seeds for the creation of Reedmark Advisors were planted in 1972 when shortly after entering the financial services industry upon graduation from college, Anthony Pascazio had the opportunity to install a brand new retirement plan for a small transportation company in central new jersey. The dynamic of becoming a part of the team that serviced and counseled this employer and his employees made a lasting impression. With ERISA becoming the pension law of the land in 1974, Anthony threw himself into the legislation to become the subject matter expert within his then organization. Prior to ERISA, retirement plans required very little technical knowledge. ERISA created the need for subject matter experts who could guide a plan sponsor through the design, adoption, operation and monitoring of the overall plan. Today, Reedmark is regarded as one of the few subject matter experts on matters dealing with the full breadth of retirement plan options available to plan sponsors. This includes, 401(a), 401(k), 403(b), defined benefit, 457(b) 457(f) and 409A deferred compensation plans.
